I'm a backend engineer focused on the parts of software that have to actually work in production: APIs under load, async services that don't leak connections, and AI features that stay grounded and reliable.

Most of my work lives in the Python and FastAPI ecosystem: designing API architecture, wiring up SQLAlchemy and Postgres correctly, and increasingly building LLM and RAG systems that go beyond demos. When I hit a nasty problem at work, I write it up here in enough depth that the next engineer who hits it can fix it faster than I did.
